January 19, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm MST
Annabell’s Attic is going to bring snow to our parking lot on World Snow Day!
People throughout the world are celebrating the joys of snow by participating in winter sports and activities. If you are planning to visit Europe in January, there is a good chance you can pick up free lift tickets for the kids. Check out the main World Snow Day website for more information on events around the globe. Go to: https://www.world-snow-day.com
In 2019 there were 469 events held for WSD in 45 different countries. At the time of writing this article 60 events in 27 countries have been confirmed. Among the confirmed events are 2019 Award winners Planica (Slovenia), Valiug (Romania) and SK Stara Planina (Serbia). Previous award winners the Danish Ski Association and Vallåsen (Sweden) are also signed up to host events again. In addition, there have been a string of new World Snow Day events registered including: Vallnord – Pal Arinsal (Andora), Tucson (USA) and Furano (Japan).
Here at Annabell’s we will make snow angels and host a snow-people making contest. We might even toss a snowball or two. Help us put the Sonoran Desert on the map for World Snow Day! Join us for the ONLY event West or South of New York in the United States marking this internationally recognized day!
